CBI chief Alok Kumar Verma came back to work on Wednesday following Supreme Court's order that he can continue in his post but will only undertake 'routine function'. ​Verma was sent on leave by the state due to an on-going rift between him and the deputy director of CBI, Rakesh Asthana, both of whom had filed FIRs alleging corruption on each other.
